ANNA SCHIERHOLZ

A born and bred St. Louisan, Anna started riding at the age of five and quickly progressed as a contender at A/AA competitions nationwide.

As a junior rider, Anna represented Zone 7 in Prix de States and Young Riders championships, as well as earned top ribbons at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, the Washington International Horse Show, the Devon Horse Show, USEF Pony Finals, and WEF. Anna competed in her first Grand Prix at age 14, and continued riding at the top level of the sport in the hunter, jumper and equitation arenas throughout her junior career.

As a member of Auburn University's prestigious NCAA Div. I Equestrian Team, Anna was a starter on the 2011 Overall and Hunt Seat National Championship team, the 2008 Hunt Seat National Championship Team, the 2010 and 2011 SEC Championship teams, as well as being selected as an All-American in Equitation Over Fences in 2011 and an individual championship rider in 2009 and 2010.

Upon graduating Cum Laude in journalism, Anna began her professional riding and coaching career. As an NCAA Div. I coach with Kansas State University and Baylor University, Anna coached multiple riders to All-American accolades, as well as earned a Big 12 Championship in her second season with the Baylor Bears. In her time with the NCEA, she developed countless relationships that remain strong today and is still involved in the development of collegiate equestrian at the Div. I level.

Armed with her extensive experience and a passion for developing horses and riders, Anna turned her focus to Clouds End Farm in 2016. CEF athletes have earned wins at top venues across the country, as well as qualified and competed at elite events like the Pennsylvania National Horse show and the National Horse Show. Anna takes pride in passing along the knowledge she has accumulated in her equestrian career both in and out of the ring. Students at Clouds End Farm receive elite level training and learn the commitment, responsibility, and mindset it takes to succeed at the highest level.

Anna currently resides in Kirkwood with her Husband, Nick, her two Goldendoodles, Indy and Archie, and Thurman, our lovable rescue mutt. Her former Grand Prix mount, Sam, resides at Brooks Ranch, and is a proud CEF mascot
